With sweeping panoramic views, the home offers unique experiences throughout the day, overlooking the Sea of Cortez and the Sierra de la Laguna’s beautiful ridge line, which is where the name CIMA comes from
The initial concept was to begin with a single mass and subtract volumes to create voids and light-filled openings, establishing fluid spatial relationships between interior and exterior. These openings give way to terraces that face the sea, where materials and textures shift gradually.Inside, local stone clads the walls, adding warmth and character, while the exterior features a smoother, sand-colored stucco finish that softens the overall appearance
On the main façade, a floating rammed earth pavilion rises above a large reflecting pool, housing the massage room and gym, and crowned by a pergola that appears to hover above the structure
